Description
Innovative design has a mechanical advantage by wrapping the fork, which holds them solid against twisting in soft dirt. The side connector protects the fork seal area from impact and no sharp angles so brush slides off.
Open bridge eliminates mud and debris clogs which jam the tire. Provides maximum tire clearance for knobbies.

Will this fit my R100 95gspd ?
Steve,
I didn’t see where I responded to your comment – sorry if not!
Yes, the lower fork bridge was specifically made for the R100GS models. The thin piece of stamped steel on the bike is almost always bent. You will notice the difference in handling on and off road. Especially in soft dirt.
Always happy to answer questions – thanks!

Hi have a 84 r80gs will this guy the forks? And how do they attach? I’ve seen the one that braces over the top of the tyre and uses the four bolts to hold it on place
Bruce
That should be fit the forks.
Hi would these fit an 1984 r 80 gs ? and how do they attach?
this wont fit the r80g/s bikes its designed only for the 87/88-95 gs bikes and actually it will only fit the GSPD bikes unless you fit a high fender on a standard r100gs model.
the forks on your r80g/s are closer to the forks from a r65 or r80st
Bruce – sorry for a really late response. I’m selling my house and buried in ‘stuff’. Hard to keep up.
I don’t make a lower bridge for the G/S because it has a very robust, if not pretty, horseshoe brace over the wheel. I DO make a really nice top brace specifically for the G/S with integral carbon fiber signal stalks, which are strong and cheap to replace if broken ($6). This brace will really tighten up the forks with huge handling benefits. The bike will feel rock solid with positive steering in soft ground and planted in corners on pavement.
Don – I make a top brace specifically designed for the G/S model because it has enough differences from the ST to warrant one. The signal stalks were the biggest challenge to come up with something which looked good, strong enough to hold up under fork pounding, quick and easy to replace – and cheap enough to carry a spare. The carbon fiber tube is indexed to work on either side, unlike the BMW signal bracket.
I’m currently working on an adapter kit for the low fender GS models. The new design is a bit harder to adapt than the previous one, but has huge improvements for mud jamming and tire clearance.
Hi,
Do you have a lower brace for a 1989 R100GS with low fender?
Thanks,
Chris
